✶Symmetry of heart✶

Placed high on the chest and shoulders, the roses frame the heart space where a tessellated sakura pattern contained within a hexagonal framework sits. Their inward orientation creates a protective gesture, guarding the Heart beneath them.

In traditional Japanese design, sakura blossoms symbolize the fleeting beauty of life and the acceptance of impermanence. Their short blooming season has long represented the idea that beauty exists precisely because it does not last forever.

The ornamental framework forms a delta like shape pointing toward the sternum, symbolizing focus, direction, and centered energy.

Roses are just cool subject matter and have long symbolized love, passion, and devotion, but they also represent resilience, a beauty that exists alongside thorns.

This composition balances softness and structure, vulnerability and strength.
